Micro Hardness Testing by Best in class ---Mitutoyo Micro Hardness Testing Machine.

This is a new series latest Mitutoyo Micro Hardness machine with a high precision switch control unit with measuring microscope of 0.1µ Resolution. Loads of 10gf to 1000gf can be applied with automatic loading, duration and unloading.

Micro Hardness:

Micro hardness is the hardness of a material gauged with instruments using small indenters. Therefore, a lower amount of force is applied relative to the standard measuring instruments, allowing measurements on thinner sheets or smaller test materials that may not respond accurately to measurements conducted with standard instruments. Typically, the indentations are so tiny that microscopic measurement is required to obtain precise readings.
