Sub Zero Temperature Bath

This is a latest addition to our fleet of equipment. Temperature, which is a major parameter while testing impact strength of specimen is precisely maintained by this bath.

With a high precision and ability to control temp within 1 deg C this bath maintains the desired specimen temperature accurately. Especially useful for low temperature impact tests, the machine is capable of handling more than 100 impact specimen at a time.

Importance of Temperature in Impact Toughness Test:

Steel loses toughness at low temperatures. It is important to test at temperatures present in service conditions. Testing at proper temperatures is thus critical. Temperature being a crucial parameter in determining quality of test results, this bath helps to achieve greater accuracy of the same.
